2 years: Doctor visit

You had your first visit with your new pediatrician, Dr. Duffy, on Friday. Your new pediatric office is so different than your other one. The office is much smaller, there are only 3 doctors in the office. When we got there at 9:00am for your appointment we were the only ones there. They write everything down with pen and paper, unlike your other doctor where everything is inputted into a laptop right away. You're now 28.8 lbs and 38 1/2 inches tall (they stop doing head circumference measurements at 2 years old). Dr. Duffy really liked you and said that most 2 year olds aren't very cooperative with doctors. You just kept smiling at her and giggling. She gave you a Hep A shot and then we were out the door. She said we don't need to have another visit until you're 3! 3! That seems so far away.

Here you are in the waiting room...playing with the little cash register that you used to have but we gave away to our neighbor.

You love toys. Around this time is when you decided to poop all over your pants. Of course I hadn't brought up the diaper bag so I had to ask the nurse for some diapers to clean you.

Here you are after being changed...in some nice pull ups!

Dragging the doctor's chair around everywhere

You kept saying vroom vroom...did you think it was a car?

I hope we'll be able to find a good doctor in Boulders. I still miss Dr. Steele. :(
