You got sick yesterday and it's snowing outside so you're sitting in the living room with Daddy watching the Jungle Book. We rented it from the Family Housing office and this is your first time watching it. You seem to really like it. It must be all the animals. You really like animals these days. Daddy was going to go to the supermarket but you wouldn't let him leave the house. You like spending lots of time with him.
Last night you had a hard time sleeping because you were coughing all night. Well, coughing and nursing all night. Poor little snookie. You ended up throwing up phlegm this morning twice. Oh my sweetie pie it's so hard seeing you sick. I hope you get better soon. You got a stamp the other day at school for using the potty. We picked you up early yesterday from school and got to see you on your little bed sleeping. It was so cute. They take your shoes and socks off so you can get all cozy and then wrap you up in your blanket. Anyhoo, we booked our flights so can visit your extended family for Christmas. Papa Cesar and Lela Carmen were kind enough to fund the trip so we don't have to spend Christmas here in Boulder alone. Thank you Papa Cesar and Lela Carmen! I'm really looking forward to it. Hope you get well sweetie pie. We love you!

2 years: Video
I've been trying to take more video of you little O. You're talking a lot these days and being a cute little monkey. These are totally random...
I was at the mall the other day and passed by the Disney Store where they had some of the cars from the Cars movie on sale. Since you're a little obsessed with Cars at the moment I thought you'd like them a lot. Daddy picked up up from school that day and told you that Mommie got you a present. Naturally you thought it must be your birthday so you came home saying, "Happy Birthday!! Present!! Happy Birthday!!" So cute little O. Anyhoo, you were very excited to open your present. I also like how OCD you are and line up your cars up all perfectly.
The other night you were having a hard time going to sleep so this is you up and eating at 10pm. Crazy!! You were a little out of it and kept thinking everything was funny. You also called my shadow big and scary.

We went to see Slam Poet Christa Bell at CU last week. You brought your cars and played with Daddy

On Halloween morning we participated in the Halloween Parade here in family housing and then attended a Halloween party for a minute or two because you were cranky and upset that they weren't showing Cars at the party (we had gone to the same building a week before and they had showed Cars in the same room) Mommie was a ladybug, you were Batman but it was a bit cold so you had to be bundled up

We left the party and headed to the Farmer's Market. Tomorrow is the last market until next year. There were so many purple things! We got purple potatoes and a purple bell pepper, purple garlic and a bag of baby potatoes and a 5 lb bag of apples that you ate in a day or two.
On Sunday we attended the Munckin Masquerade. It's downtown on Pearl Street and you can go trick-or-treating in almost all the stores downtown. It was pure madness. There were kids everywhere and so much candy!! Your favorite was this bus that was parked downtown where you usually get wet in the summer. You went in there twice and just wanted to sit in the bus. You're too cute!
Walking on the ledge with Daddy. You got to pick out all of the candy and we tried to get you to pick chocolate but you kept picking laffy taffy and jolly ranchers and things like that. Ahhh!! Maybe next time.
